Headed to the airport today! Had dinner at Crystal Jade and ate xiao long bao! Found out that Bugis has this place with a great variety of xiao long bao so I'm gonna have to try it! Nice!

Console-of-the-Day
Visited Sitex again (and on a happier mode this time) to get Wii!!! Hehe. A bit lagging but.. it's cheaper (and it's the Christmas season so it's PLAY TIME)!
Hung out with Sandra in the evening. We hung out at this funky place called Sembawang Shopping Centre. We're erm.. heartlanders. Don't really like the crowd. Ate at Astons, al fresco with a great evening sky. Too romantic to be with Sandra though (and she'd say the same), LOL. Might I add? Sandra says the darnest things... Love this kid, seriously.

Fair-of-the-Day
Headed to Sitex TWICE today. Bought a laptop in the morning and checked out Wii. Launched a negotiation with my bro to co-invest in a Wii and guess what.. he actually agreed (he had to think about it though so I didn't buy it today). Wanted this game console ever since I knew of its existence.
Anyway, when I got home with my laptop in the early afternoon, I found that my Windows 7 was operating in Chinese with the user name "UUY". I was the only one at home so.. great. I tried my best to read the words and work around it. I gave up. Headed back in the evening with my bro to get it fixed. Gosh. Apparently, it was claimed that my laptop happened to be a set they used for QC and didn't seal it back properly (software wise). I might as well have struck toto that day. Oh well. It was a good deal but such a hassle (especially without a car). One thing great that came out of it was that I brought my bro to tour the Wii games while lappie was being fixed and he made his decision to buy the games. Much thanks and acknowledgement go to Lucasarts (the creator of Star Wars games).
Oh! I had French dinner at home today, prepared by a French! Duck confit, long beans and mushrooms, great salad dressing! Apparently, French beans ain't called French beans in France. It's just long beans!

Events-of-the-Day
Decided to head home. I just had a great need to avoid the crowd and rest a little at home. Started the evening by watching "Kate & Leopold" (my all-time favourite), following which I was a bit lost about what I should do next.
So tired with the pace that I decided to lean against the window and stare into space. I heard some noises from a distance and I thought they were doing piling (they usually have construction there). To my surprise, I saw fireworks. It was from Malaysia. In a couple of minutes it was over. The air was cool and I felt like running but I couldn't move. I was frozen. Tired.
Then I sat at my desk and stared at my open closet. I've almost forgotten about my target (in every sense of the word). Just how much allowance did I have to hit that?
Leopold: When one finds oneself participating in an endeavor entirely without merit, one withdraws.
Kate: No. No. Because sometimes you have to do things that you don't like. Sometimes you have to suck it up and finish what you started.
Don't ever say you're on your way down, when..
God gave you style and gave you grace
And put a smile upon your face

Game-of-the-Day
I engaged in an awesome game today (the game lasts 1.5 days). Gaming LIVE with 20+ others. Competing against 4 other worthy teams. Strategizing and using brains in a game. Gosh, I don't think I've ever done that. I've always believe we shouldn't work those brains when playing (and I still do believe so). Well, I didn't have a choice but it was great fun! Our team's Shock-and-Awe strategy was damn cool man.

Student-of-the-Day
I really feel like a student again. Late night project discussions. Meetings. Lectures. Tests...... Tiring sia. There's just about one difference from my school days - the subject matter is so unfamiliar.
The less I know, the more I learn.

Bear you on the breath of dawn,
Make you to shine like the sun,
