Spent the evening fishing with HY at Punggol! Played Monopoly on cards to pass time! Caught nothing except the fireworks display at Punggol from afar! That was especially nice as it came as a surprise! They actually held a countdown party at Punggol (no kidding). That's happening.

Had a mini 4/O gathering at Watami (Japanese casual dining restaurant in Ion Orchard). Haven't seen Clara and Felicia in years!!!

Dinner-of-the-Day

Ate dinner at Jln Kayu today! The prata shop sells so much other stuff nowadays! Had naan for dinner.

HY came over and we:

• Went for a short jog
• Ate XO bee hoon with sambal kang kong! Nice!
• Played Wii (",)

Pubbing-of-the-Day

Changed bay during monthly shoot today. Feed error but I was almost happy when I saw the message appear on my monitor. Haha. Oh well. I suddenly felt that the gun was weightless after the change (not to mention, I had sighters again, hehe). Extremely blur today, lacked one shot and I happily kept everything and jumped out of my bay only to return a minute later to complete one last shot. Tsk.

In the evening, headed to Paulaner. Fun! Ate so much there. Erm, and the taxi didn't have card payment facilities so I short change the uncle $0.60, oops.

Oh, and they switch off the Orchard Rd lights past midnight. =(

From a food science perspective, when you pour Dettol into Yakult you'd probably observe precipitation due to the dead bodies of our friendly bacteria. Anyway, it's a toxic drink and we'd die along with the bacteria in us!

I've just been shopping and shopping this whole season. Gosh.

Anyway, headed to Tampines One today. My second visit but it's the first time I really walked around the place.

Had dinner at Justin's place this evening. Lots of food! Like.. truck loads! Did our usual gift exchange and watched Coraline. We only left at 1230am so didn't manage midnight mass this year. Yawnz. Headed back to open a huge Christmas present...... Band Hero, the full set! (",) Thanks Mr Ho!

Headed furniture shopping with HY today. Erm, window shopping of course. Headed to some atas places (thanks to my atas bf) - Knoll or something like that, Park Mall and Space. Quite interesting though!

Visited my one day old nephew today. So tiny! Gosh.

Went downtown to shop. Needed some help so I dialed a friend and it was quite awesome cos Ms Pig was only 10min away and came to my rescue. How coincidental is that! LOL. Made her late, hehe. THANK YOU!

Movie-of-the-Day

Watched Avatar in 3D with HY today. I like the part when he flicks the seeds away, hilarious. Love the movie! (",)

Citibankers really know how to have a good time. DJ turntables and mixers at home? Kegs of Paulaner beer. A poker table, as in.. a real dealing table. And a hired BBQ man. Oh, and of course, Wii. That's one great house party. (Amazed that the neighbours didn't complain.)However, in true Cinderella fashion, I left at the stroke of midnight to catch the last bus to Woodlands and the last train to Khatib after which I jumped into a cab and wished I had a bike.

Hmm-of-the-Day

Spent most of the day doing nothing, i.e. played Wii and watched movies. But I did one thing that was productive - I went to the airport. And I got to drive! Heh.

Thoughts-of-the-Day

In the streets where goals didn't involve running or flying, books or papers. The goal was simple: To make others smile. As time went by, the streets became too winding and somehow these streets got too hard to reach. Then came the highway to complement the streets - straighter, faster and simply easier. The highway was littered with certs and stashes of medals and trophies, some of glory, others of defeat.

Headed for more Christmas shopping, this time with Sandra. Visited the new 313 @ Somerset. Big place with huge crowds and a large Uniqlo! Headed to Coalition Store at Heeren's to get a tee as well!

Went to the Christ@Work conference today. I got my answer, so that was good. Met some people from NUS CSS. I like that you can always "come as you are". Man, I can't even remember when was the last time I did P&W.

Anyway, I was impressed that we had a ministry that helped returning Catholics. Pleasantly amazed that this need was recognized for those struggling to return to their faith.

Had dinner with some colleagues at Founders Bakuteh this evening! A little pricey but good food nonetheless!

Went to watch the movie "2012" in the evening. Not bad! The action is good!

Finally started training. Like really training. I think most of my training this year (after leaving NUS) was a complete waste of time. Training without thinking.. thinking without training.. Training attitude makes a great difference.

Shooting is my spark. Simply love it when my hand slides over and wraps itself around the gun.
