Quake-of-the-Day

Just finished a can of Coke and when I stood up, I felt extremely unstable. I was wondering why that would happen after drinking Coke! Well, it was the earthquake tremors! We evacuated the building. First time I evacuated a building for real in SG. There wasn't any announcement but we all flooded out into the open ground. The lifts were full man! Fun!

Met pQ, rZ and Sep this evening! And, finally.. it wasn't at Ah Seah. We had dinner at Shokudo at Raffles City. Lots of laughing, as usual!

Clothes-of-the-Day

Spent the evening trying on the stash of clothes pQ dumped on me. Haha. That saves a heck load of money! This crazy fella just gives everything away without even knowing what she's left to bring to China! Thanks anyway!

Bike-of-the-Day

Rode a Gilera Runner this evening! Uncle Fred was the pillion and he made me do U-turns! Gosh. Fun. Haha. BIKE BIKE BIKE.

Today was Traby day again! Fixed all the shelves up! YAY! Headed for family dinner at Bottle Tree Village in Sembawang in the evening.

Loud mozzies zooming around! The noise started from about 3pm! Headed to the pantry to get a glimpse of the F1 cars as they whizzed by! Quite cool!

Saw the Fiat 500 at Raffles City today. Not bad!

Went training today! Erm, yeah. I like the electronic target range.

Had dinner at Sakae today! It's been a while since I ate there me thinks! Had a fun evening! (",)

Started the morning with breakfast at Cafe Cartel! Met up with pQ, rZ and Kangz! It was getting crowded so we headed to the food court. Later on, the food court got crowded so we headed to Toast Box. Gosh. Eat and eat!

pQ and I then headed downtown to buy some stuffies. Went shopping with pQ and HY came later on! Shopped at Zara. I think I need the 2 of them to do shopping!!!

In the evening, HY came over to my place resulting in:

my bedroom - Billy + 40% Traby = messy

I like carpentry!

Movie-of-the-Day

Headed to IKEA with Jan, Pat and HY (for muscles) to get a new bookshelf! Jan bought me a new bookshelf named Traby!

After that, HY and I went out to watch Inglorious Basterds. Not bad! Very Kill Bill!

Met my eldest brother for dinner today... He's 14 years older than me but we had a good chat today. For the first time, I can see eye to eye with him on issues. Nice chat.

Anyway, we ate some cool food just opp Sembawang S.C.:

NICE!

He showed me around Sembwang.. So here's a list of cool places:

I passed my Motorbike 2B license on the first attempt today. Nice. Save $$$ by passing. Tempts me to get a bike.

One of those rant days.....!

Here's the thought process:

Riding a bike has a higher probability of getting into an accident than with a car. A single injury could cause me stop doing the things I love... shooting, running, etc. I can't afford a car so the bike is an affordable alternative. Taxi costs $30 from my workplace and $8 from Jurong East MRT to the range. Grrr. It's impossible to squeeze onto the train at Jurong East towards Bukit Batok. I have to cease fire at 930pm. Now, that's not a lot of time. Back in secondary school, an important test and saving time would take precedence over the high cost of a taxi ride back. For a million other reasons, riding a bike is out of the question for the moment. The costs of a car: the car/COE, parking, ERP, road tax, insurance, car washing, servicing and petrol. Now, I feel like starting that bread cycle again where $2 could last me 2 or 3 days. Let's not even think nutrition. Don't get me wrong. The car is the means to the end, not the end. Things I want to achieve, yet the mode of transport stands in my way. Pardon me for the disorganized thought process. There's gotta be a way around it. THINK THINKKKKK!!!!!

Anyway, it's mum's birthday today.

I can do so much more.

Hung out with my AJ clique at SM's place. Bought a tonne of food from Chomp Chomp. Seriously man, the amount of food was... a tad bit too much!

Ok, here's something that might shock you kids:

I played mahjong with money for the first time with money I think. Jaime hardly plays mahjong but Jaime was the biggest winner. Won a total of $4.50. I even had a round where I won with 5 tai. Kept zi4 mo1-ing ("self touch".. sounds wrong) to win.
