Shoes-of-the-Day
In between lab today, Chewy and I headed to a few places! We had lunch at Bukit Batok (nice Hokkien mee) and headed to book the venue for our Graduation Dinner. After that, we went to Queensway! Did some engraving and checked out door gifts! I decided to get me a pair of Asics to motivate me to run! My old Asics from the JC days have flat soles anyway! My first pair of red and white shoes.. Specially for National Day Parade next year!
Ended school at around 1215pm today (AMAZING)! Spent some time slacking and discussing stuff for our Graduation dinner followed by sensory evaluation. Was waiting for time to pass since the shooting range only opens at 2pm!
Had a long training session today. Kinda eeky groupings these days. Changed some stuff. Oh well.. After that I went to play rifle. Model 601 feels super heavy!
After training, went down to check out a potential Graduation Dinner venue. Cool place. I feel like throwing party there too.. but no occasion. Haha. After that, Jimmy and I headed to Jln Kayu for dinner!
Gosh. I think I need to study some Physics. I didn't even study high school Physics. I had a run-in with the subject during FST3101 (some enzyme module) as well as FST3103 (Food Engineering - mass transfer) today.
I didn't even know what "terminal velocity" was. Thanks to Wikipedia and some other websites, I'm a teeny wee bit smarter. Gotta head to the library to learn Physics (again). This shall be my 3rd attempt? Oh well, never too late to learn!
Was just thinking of Kermit the Frog (I don't know why.. random)! Kermit is a left hander! Check him out as he strums his guitar! SO CUTE!!!! Can't stand it!!! CAN DIE!!!! =P

Met rZ for a run at MacRitchie today! Found it lame to drive 2 cars there so I drove to her place and she drove me to MacRitchie and to J8! Haha. Nice to be driven around!
Ran quite fast today (for my current standard) thanks to Ms Goh!!! Gosh. We ran about 4+km!
Heh, Ling Ling is at my place again today! She's staying over again! Haha.
LIVE on Discovery Channel at MacRitchie today.. featuring Monkeys: We saw a male and female monkey Discovery Channeling. It lasted for like 5 seconds after which the male monkey laughed! It laughed!!! First time I hear a monkey laugh! Ms Pig was wondering who laughed! GOSH! Damn cheeko.
Met Jimmy for lunch today. Spent some time on my Food Engineering report.
I finaly excercised!!! Went for a run (actually more of a jog) at MacRitchie. Love MacRitchie. Ok, now I really know where my fats are. Took 24min52s to complete 3.2km. Ran/jogged a total of 3.5km!

For lab today, we went to Cold Storage at Centrepoint to learn about pest management! Interesting.
Watched a DVD yesterday.. It was about a guy who could see into the future and alter the future. Broken dreams can be mended and can fly.
Extremes.. that's what it used to be.. Work hard.. Play harder... If that's the ideal, then I've deviated. Strive harder. Higher, better, faster, STRONGER. Some things ought to be left behind.. And some traits should be kept for a lifetime. This is me, and the time is now.

I spent a total of 8 hours compiling the New Product Development since yesterday! I just finished! There's a grand total of 45 pages (exactly 5mm thick). One month's worth of work!!! DAMN THICK. Graphs, figures, tables, photos, references........ I almost gave up. The process flow chart was a headache. Had to draw diagram, group and ungroup, send to back, bring forward, etc... I don't think I've ever spent so much time compiling a report before. WAH... Niiice.
pQ's sleeping at my house now.. Don't know where Ling Ling went! Me go find them!
Ling Ling (pQ's sister) came over for a home stay today! She's got O Levels. Anyway, solved some Permuatation & Comibination problems as well as a differentiation/trigonometry proving problem. Quite proud of myself!
Had lunch small Grace & bf, Chewy and Eugene at Botak Jones at Clementi! The Cajun Chix is big and juicy (even though they used chicken breast meat). The portion is good (i.e. big) Busy busy...
Hmm.. Our group managed to finish FST3103 lab for Experiment 1 very fast (our Prof was shocked). Thus, I managed to train as well as collect the lens for my shooting spex. Busy busy...

Broke into a run in the heavy rain. The feeling was good. Miss running in the rain. Easy. Effortless.
After class, some of us headed to the lab. I wanted to see the viscometer! Haha. Anyway, Sharon and I felt kind of retarded as we did not know how to use the program and had to take step by step instructions. Funny!!!

Went training in the evening after singing session. TC help me cut up my grip! Anyway, I was sticking to TC and following him around due to scary reasons. Quite funny. Heh.
After nutrition lecture, we had a short break to eat. After that, was in the lab from 10am to 6.15pm!!! Anyway, we had lunch in the lab! Big Grace and Beeyong cooked instant noodles with a great soup base!!! There was like pumpkin, mushrooms and lots more in the soup! Nice lunch!
JY and I had dinner at Lerk Thai before heading for a Sports Club meeting.

For lab, we headed to the SATS Inflight Catering Centre! The food looks yummylicious! I wanna take Singapore Airlines!!! They cater mainly to SIA but service other airlines like British Airways as well. The business class section had smoked salmon!!! Their food is like damn well represented! Anyway, they gave us some food at the end of our visit! NICE! Their wasabi looks quite different though.
Due to the high security (we had to go through metal detectors and our bags were x-rayed as if we were embarking on an outbound flight), I couldn't bring Valen along. My father dropped me off in school this morning and I took public transport home! I haven't taken a public bus for a very long time. I had to dig out my EZ-link card before this (I don't keep it in my wallet).

Took part in the HomeTeamNS Biathlon Shoot (200-shots pistol and 200-shots rifle in 5 hours). It was quite fun. It's the first time I see people looking around while they shoot and smiling. Haha. Nice atmosphere. Got 1719/2000 for rifle (8.595 average, 343.8/400) and 1783/2000 for pistol (8.915 average, 356.6/400). Anyway, I managed to shoot a 97 series for rifle! AMAZED!

Today was a busy day! Had FST3101 test today. It was horrid. Oh well. Anyway, after school, I had to attend a rehearsal. Following that, there was a meeting by Sports Club. After all these, I headed to the range and trained a bit!
Well, how do I describe today? It's an ordinary day? Well, not exactly. When I was in class, I realized most of us were drained and not rejuvenated after the term break. I was slightly surprised. I was rather zombie-ish this morning.
Part 1: Arising from Zombie-ness: After school, Pearly called me over and she gave me bubble gum!!! She remembered that I liked bubble gum and bought some for me while she was back in Malaysia! So happy you know?
Part 2: Stepping into bounciness: While queuing up for the toilet, YX tapped me on my head from the back! Haha. She was kind of in a cheerful mood. Infectious cheerful mood. That 3 minute trip to the toilet made me bounce on the way to meet Valen.

Two incidences that made me feel like a kid again (not that that's rare, but it's different this time). The simple happiness of a kid. How apt for Children's Day.
