Praise-of-the-Day

I had a meeting to plan for praise and worship today! This is by far one of the most enjoyable meetings. I mean, we sang songs. I guess that's fun with a meaningful twist!

Project-of-the-Day

Sandra and I met up at night to compile our GEK1511 report.

Well, this seems to be the only module that I have a project for. However, I typically only blog about GEK1511 meetings as ... it's with Sandra and usually enjoyable (not that I don't enjoy other meetings, but...)

Baptism-of-the-Day

Today is Trinity's day of baptism! She was so quite the whole day. She was sleeping most of the time.

Gathering-of-the-Day

We had AJC Track 2003/04 Gathering today! We ate dinner at AMK Jack's Place and proceeded to Zexi's place to slack, mahjong, etc! I got to talk a lot to Roy. Interesting!

Animation-of-the-Day

I just have to add this! I made an animation all by myself today! This is just a picture of the animation (unfortunately, I do not know how to upload powerpoint slides). It was just normal words and it cracks (I cut up the words and displaced them a little using paint!) with sound effects in powerpoint. This is the final product:

I had lunch (as in proper RICE and food) at 3+pm today. I ate my last potato at 5+pm. However, when I was shooting, I was very hungry (around 8+pm). It was terrible! I had to hunt for food immediately after training! I ate a blueberry pie from the poolside stall.

I finally went to run today! I met Samuel at 10+pm to run in the Paya Lebar/Hougang region! This is the first time this year that I've met him! The run was good, I think about an hour long!

I ad a CM1121 test today! I got back my CM1161 test paper. I passed, which was a shock.

My niece, Trinity, celebrated her 1 month old birthday today! She's so tiny and peaceful!

Events-of-the-Day

pQ and I bought a cake and went to Serena's home to celebrate her birthday a day in advance! Haven't seen her for so long (but nothing changed)!

In the evening, Heeman picked me up and we went to Shangri-La Singapore at Orchard for the Commissioning Ball. I met so many people I knew there!

After that, we (JAIME, Heeman, Jasmin, Oliver, Jiaying, Irving) went to watch V for Vendetta. Cool show. This is the fourth time I wore a dress! Uncomfortable!!! Anyway, I reached home at 4.05am even with Heeman dropping me home!

Reptile-of-the-Day

At around 5+am in the morning, I was making breakfast for myself in the kitchen. When I wanted to throw something away, I saw a python wrapped around my dustbin! I alerted my father who proceeded to kill the snake! It was a small python (approximately 75cm long and a diameter of 1cm). I wonder why it wrapped itself around the non-food bin instead of the food bin. It must have gotten lost!

My family (Jan, Pat, Pa and me) had dinner had the porridge place (chao2 zhou1) at Jln Kayu. We tried the first tofu dish on the menu. We must try the other 4 in sequence!

Proof-of-the-Day

I have just completed my excercise regime. I finished my usual arm excercises. However, I had not trained my legs for some time (1 month maybe?) I decided to prove to myself that my leg power had not diminished and my being is still capable of endurance and perseverance. I decided to finish off a 100 squats at one go. It is accomplished.

Mind over body? Since the soul must be in line with the body (i.e. mind and body), and since I accomplished my mission, I conclude that both my mind and body is still capable of endurance and discipline. We all need to prove ourselves (to ourselves) once in a while.

I finally got to try the Burbur Terigu in Science canteen! It's one of my favourite desserts! Met Chris at Science for lunch. He wanted to eat the dory at the western food stall.

I finally found people to go overseas today! I'm going to Indonesia in June and Malaysia in July! Excellent!!!

Shopping-of-the-Day

I learnt something "WOW" in GEK1511 lecture today! To find out the IP address of a website, go to MS DOS and type 'ns lookup xxx.com'!

I went shopping in Orchard after my GEK1511 project meeting with Sandra today! I bought a bag and shoes! It's so difficult to shop for girl stuff! I took half a life-time in comparision with my normal shopping standards. There's so much variation in design for every item and I have to think about whether this would match that, etc!

I just finished talking on the phone with a stranger for 39+min. A result of the AJC University eForum. Once again, food science is interesting (at least to me)!

I spent the evening working on my GEK1511 project again! Just came back from sending Sandra home.

Project-of-the-Day

I spent the entire day (from 1230pm to 1045pm) working on our GEK1511 project with Sandra. From Ang Mo Kio library to McDonalds, back to the library, to my house and to Khatib McDonalds!

It's Shamir's 21st birthday today! pQ, Stamp!, mir and I went to Swensens in Orchard Rd to celebrate his birthday! I ate a whole lot of lime and orange sherbert!

We ordered mir a birthday ice cream! Haha.

The person of the day is an uncle from HomeTeamNS. He's a shooter and he shot at the lane beside mine. He talked to me and gave me some advise! =)

Assignments-of-the-Day

I spent a lot of my time having meetings with my group! In the afternoon, it was CM1161 and in the evening it was ST1232! Both of them required a certain level of manipulation of the computer to do our work! It took so much of our time to figure the IT part out.
