Met up with pQ and Nana this evening! Dinnered at Far East Plaza. Gosh, things haven really changed around Orchard Road! We spent the rest of the night at Alley Bar which is quite a cool place!

Went for dinner at The White Rabbit. Love the ambience as well as the food! Watched "District 9" after that!

Went to Velvet Underground for the first time in my life! Drank too many shots. Gosh.. trays upon trays! Tequila shots followed by Vodka sour plum shots. Fun! The most happening party ever!

Went to a costume rental place at Bali Lane today. Interesting. First time I've ever stepped into such a place! Nice! Ate lunch at Blue Jazz..!

Sent Big Grace off at the airport this evening! Gosh.. LIVING THE DREAM. We talked a lot about our future after FYP and now it's in motion. Excellent. Never believed that the recession should impact our dreams for the future!

Watched "The Proposal" today. I enjoyed the movie a fair bit. Funny!

Activities-of-the-Day

Started the day with bike lessons followed by training with QL! In the evening, headed out with HY to get some Hush Puppies (investment in healthy feet is essential). Went to Orchard Central for the first time! Hmm. I like the chairs they place so generously in the mall! As to whether that's a good idea from the merchant perspective, is debatable.

All I can remember is that I cooked dinner this evening. Hmm. I can never say this enough: I love home-cooked food!!!

Went training with QL, ZJ and CPF today! Hmm. I felt like I just wasted more than 6 months and now I'm back to square one! Hmm. Interesting. I'm gonna get back on track. I feel like a lightbulb just lit up inside my head.

Watched UP with HY today! Nice movie! I recommend all of you to catch it!!!

Gathering-of-the-Day

Met up with the AJ clique this evening! Had buffet at Kublai Khan! Good that I'm in finance? Interesting comment that Sandra made which struck a chord. And when I asked why, she mentioned that I like to deal with my own money, etc. Weird, sometimes you just have to hear it from someone else to reassure your thoughts. Such a fresh perspective.. Most people believe I belong to the food industry. Well, God has been good to me. My job appears to be heaven-sent (henceforth, I'm going to work real hard and put my brain to good use). The same goes for my family, my friends and you!

TGIF? Well, it's been a great week at work! The long weekend's here! Gonna pack it with activities (hopefully)!

Headed to Challenger at Funan this evening! It's been a while since I've looked at such stuff! Shopped for some breakfast as well! Gonna have more happy breakfasts soon! (",)

Went to ION Orchard for the first time today! We ate at the foodcourt (Food Opera). It's $$$! There's so much snack food there! Must explore on an ulu-er day!

Toys-of-the-Day

Played UFO thingy again! Gosh.. We aimed for the Eeyore (last thing left on our Winnie the Pooh collection) and spent about $25! Now, here's the twist... We had a whole bunch of toys drop down and when the thing spun.. it hit JACKPOT! So we got the big toy too. A whole lot of toys again! No more playing till next year!

Started my first day at work! Had lunch at a Vietnamese place! Interesting..!

Headed back to Singapore today! In the evening, met up with rZ and Seppie at Ah Seah! pQ was absent. Hmmph! Anyway, it was nice meeting up.. business as usual! (",)

Trip-of-the-Day

Activity 1:
Snorkeling on our own where we saw many clown fish and other fishes! Saw crabs as well (alive and dead) and grazed ourselves on the barnacles! Fun! The free snorkeling with equipment wasn't as fun!

Activity 2:
Jet Ski! That's a great aqua motorbike! So fun! I like it LOTS! Tsk tsk, I'm a real menace!
