We had a funfair at church to celebrate St Anne's Feast Day! There were playing music from the 80s - I love!

For those who don't know, St Anne is Mother Mary's mother.

We headed to Gunung Arong at Mersing for some light trekking today!

Went to Cafe Brio's followed by drinks with my colleagues this evening. We headed to Quaich Bar to try the whiskey then headed to Wine Bar.

We celebrated my boss' birthday on a yacht today. We went to Lazarus Island. Nice.

Decided to have Korean food for dinner this evening so we headed to Amoy Street.We found a cool place to park - a car elevator carpark! Diner was at Manna Korean. Love the BBQ meat!

Had dinner at Ramen Monster at Novena Square. I love their cold ramen!

Expedition-of-the-Day

HY and I went on a kayaking expedition from Pasir Ris to Changi. Total distance covered was 12km. We were quite fast so we wanted to head to Coney Island before heading back but then it started to rain over there (Cat 1). Anyhow, it was FUN!!!

Dinner-of-the-Day

Had family dinner this evening to celebrate Justin's birthday! We had dinner at Paradise Inn at Greenwich Village. It's the first time I've been there but it's kind of nostalgic as it used to be Seletar market where we'd spend a lot of time hanging out there, be it eating or basketball. 

Gosh, my family is noisy but super fun anyway!

Had dinner with GO and LW this evening. We had steamboat just because we heard someone mentioning steamboat while walking past us!

Day 4

We went for a walk-a-shop around Seminyak in the morning. We're headed back to Singapore!

Day 3

Started the day with a massage followed by a babi guling lunch (roasted pig). We then spent most of the day shopping at the Billabong outlet (the one near Harley Davidson) and at Kuta. We had dinner at this posh-looking place serving Turkish cuisine.

Day 2

We started day with whitewater rafting at the Telega Waja River. There's a 4m drop somewhere towards the end. It was an awesome experience. Definitely lots of fun with a large group!

After heading back to the villa, a couple of us went for a dip in the pool while enjoying a glass of Baileys. Dinner was at Potato Head Beach Club which is a cool place with good food and good view. Finally, we ended the evening with a massage followed by drinks.

Day 1

We're headed off for Bali! First time I'm flying with colleagues.

Our flight got delayed for 3 hours and we were only notified at the boarding gate. Spent quite a bit of time at the airport just chilling out! We checked in to The Lodek Villas.
