These days, I have my evening meal at Kallang Leisure Park. With the F1 road closures, it's really tough to get a vehicle near the race track!

Festival-of-the-Day

Headed to Punggol Park with 2 tiny lanterns (palm sized) and according to HY, a total of 7 people laughed at us and many more stared at our lanterns and commented on them! The whole place was extremely smokey with all the sparklers and fires!

Had a company appreciation event where we got to watch Money Never Sleeps before the global opening! Interesting movie!

Had dinner at Aston's and visited Seletar Reservoir today. It's been a while! Happy to have taken out my brother's car for a spin! I love driving (mostly)!

In the morning, we did some window shopping for toys today. Watched the movie, Valentine's Day today. A little confusing with so many characters and stories interlinking but I liked it!

Stayed home and worked on our secret project today! Always exciting to embark on something new!

Went for a jog around my place this evening! Should make this a regular event but some areas seem quite dark and ulu.

Had laksa at Rivervale Mall for dinner today! It's been a while since I had laksa, nice!

We visited a pasar malam this evening in search of lanterns but we didn't find any. However, we did play a game. We had to knock 5 cans completely off the table. That was no easy task and we didn't manage to do so but we got a yo-yo as a consolation prize! Haven't played the yo-yo in such a long while!

Spark-of-the-Day

It's amazing how much emotions can allude from an idea. It creates so much drive that you just want to jump into it and start right away. Perhaps the ideal would be to find yourself constantly caught in an idea, happily working at it.

Watched The Picturehouse film, Villon's Wife. Wow, it's based on a semi-autobiographical model. This film gives "stand by me" a whole new meaning. Now, that's unconditional love!

Attended a wedding at The Ritz this evening. Nice!

Reached Singapore this morning.

The first case of jet lag! I slept for 6 hours while poor HY played iPhone(s) all day! Oops.

Still traveling back to SG!

Well, this trip has made a lot of "I've always wanted to.." and "one day" and "someday" come through for me:

• In-room dining. Since 2005.
• Relaxing under a willow tree. Since I don't know when. But probably also more than 10 years ago. It's almost... poetic.
• Flying on Singapore Airlines. Since I don't know when either, but probably more than 10 years ago.
• Disney!!! Since 1991.
• Being able to afford this. Since I heard the phrase "one day".

Time to head home!

Used the airport lounge, The Oasis at JFK. It was excellent. Free food, drinks (lots of alcoholic ones too), wifi. Great resting area and restrooms! Thank goodness for Priority Pass to make the 6 hour transit a whole lot more bearable!!!

3. Fireworks over Lakeshore Reserve for Labor Day - this is a spectacular 8min long, complete with music. And I thought the ones in SG were good.
