Transient..

How difficult it is to predict life.
How things change,
Sometimes desirable,
Sometimes less than desirable.
It's weird,
It's scary,
How lives can intertwine at some point,
Yet become parallel in time,
Never to intersect.
Like vines that intertwine,
Perhaps it makes us stronger.
Perhaps there's a reason,
A purpose.
Perhaps not.
Maybe we should long for distance,
Maybe we should long for superficiality,
Maybe, just maybe, we should cancel vulnerability,
Not needing parallel lives should things change.
...
One lifetime.. and beyond.
Are fleeting events worth the trouble at all???

Penny for your thoughts? Why you sound so melancholic? I thought you're the ever-cheerful booboocow?

It is difficult to predict life.
Changes-- they're sometimes desirable, and other times not.
But I'm convinced they are necessary.
Imagine if we live in a static environment where there's no change.
Sad people might possibly be forever sad.
But then again, will happy people be forever happy??
I'm glad for the changes in life. Look at it positively.
We are about as happy as we make ourselves to be.

Isn't it beautiful how lives intertwine together?
Sometimes I feel as if our creator's playing a game of chess..
Out of the billions of people in the world,
We are placed in the lives of a selected few.
There must be a purpose.
Cherish that.
Let our impact on them be a positive one!

But what about their impact on us??
What do we get after all that we give?
Maybe we need to remember that Life was never meant to be ideal or fair for all.
Dwell not on the unfairness.
Be positive, focus on what you have to do,
And you will be as happy as you could possibly be,
Both in process and in end.

Would you rather live a life full of ups and downs,
Or a 'safe' but flat and dull life?
Distance and superficiality are not what man naturally long for.
I would rather trade vulnerability for the experience of loving fully,
Than protect myself and never love / be loved before.
There might be hurt and regrets for giving our all,
But all these in exchange for the chance that Life will be kind...
And even if we do not get to keep the people we so want,
At least we had them before.
It is not a loss-- we have gained and grown.

Without strife, happiness and pain,
What's the point of living life?
And it is particularly at these points in life,
That you will want someone / people to share and walk with you...

One lifetime and beyond... If fleeting events are not worth the trouble, why should God even bother to put us on earth? ;)

Live a FULL life.

Cheers to Life! :)
