The beginning and the end. It's funny how people may want to end their lives at the beginning. Is this symbolic? That people find the process of life insignificant and should have ended it at the beginning, or is it because the beginning signifies some form of meaning in their lives and in that meaning, there is some form of attachment to this world? Am I making sense?
Are some memories worth having? Memories are sometimes a distortion of the truth, but it is our truth. It's what we believe in and what we build our lives upon. Are we who we think we really are? There will always be a part of us that we cannot understand. And what we cannot understand, we usually fear. When pushed to the limits, what will you do? What are you capable of? Are you as steady and sound as you think you are? Are you in control? You just haven't been in the appropriate situation.
Too much dreaming. You keep reaching for the stars but figured all you wanted was solid ground when you've lost sight of the ground. Simple, basic needs. You can't always get what you want and these are usually the simplest yet most complex aspects of life. The easiest to receive yet almost impossible to achieve...

I like your last para! Especially 'We keep reaching for the stars but it was when we lost sight of the ground that we realized all we wanted was just solid ground'... And how true also that many of our basic needs seem easy to receive but hard to 'achieve'... Hmm... May life be kind while we learn the way!
