He - Part 8

WAKE UP WAKE UP!!! He finally gave in to the calling from afar and started to stir. He awoke from a series of dreams. The kind of dreams that when you were awaken in the middle of them, you'd want to jump right back in. This time, he reminded himself that it was just a dream and the only way for it to manifest was that if he woke up and took control. He sat up thinking about the reasons why he can't in life. People. Circumstance. His life was an excuse. He never expected that anything good would come his way. He never felt that anything good should come his way. And for that, he dug a pit of excuses, afraid to succeed.

Then he saw how his life fell into place. How every small decision, people close to him, and those who weren’t so close influenced his life. The initial outcome was always negative. Antagonistic. The final outcome, which was what mattered, was always positive. Should anything have differed, his life would have taken an entirely different angle. Everything geared him towards success but he never took the chance. Hopes and aspirations overshadowed by worries and fears. Time was running out. Every minute that fell to the ground turned to blood. Each decision life-changing. He was made with purpose. He was given ability to fulfill his purpose, yet he always lacked the attitude.

For a moment, he was like the living-dead, walking through life without a purpose. Procrastination and working with lifeless passion. Now, with a destination, determination filled his veins.

Opportunity. One door slammed and he never thought to reach for the knob to open it once again. A hard worker is praised. A passionate one, envied. And as such, he trusted his longing to open the eyes of others.

How do you reach a destination if you keep running away from it? Simple logic but it never hit him. He was in a constant state of dreaming so logic didn’t come into play. He just needed a vision of his destiny then he’d see the ground in constant motion beneath his feet. That first step of realization and of desire the longest stride, breaking into a run and finally, in flight until he landed on eternity. He wasn’t going to try. He was going to get it done.

He was going to dissect that which left him in awe. It was time for surreality to transpire into reality.
