Babysitting-of-the-Day

HY and I were on babysitting duty this evening! Cooked dinner and watched The Lovely Bones.

I expected it to be a thriller about how a spirit leads her family to discover who her murderer was. However, as HY put it, it was rather Catholic-chy (yay!). Her spirit is trapped in her "perfect world" where she watches over her family but she refuses to move on to "heaven", sounds like purgatory to me. The show had a surrounding theme of "moving on" and "forgiveness" and how finding the murderer doesn't matter since "everybody dies". It's vengeance vs the healing of her family.
